Titanfall is Just What Everyone Expects, Pure Awesomeness
Titanfall is going to be the saviour of Xbox One, because It’s not just the Xbox One that needs Titanfall to be a success, because so far there have been very few games to justify spending hundreds on new hardware in a next generation consoles. And with an excellent marketing campaign, that promises innovation in technical and gameplay ideas makes Titanfall success or failure having a profound effect on the future of the new consoles.
And Titanfall is Just What Everyone Expects, Pure Awesomeness distililed in a jar of parkour, cool robots with a shades of Call of Duty. The shade of Call of Duty is not surprising because Respawn was founded by two of the co-creators of Call Of Duty and is staffed by many ex-Infinity Ward veterans. That’s why you can expect that Titanfall handles very similarly to Call Of Duty, with the same silky smooth movement and as precise as aiming as the Xbox One controller.
The gameplay in Titanfall totally lives up to the hype, with fast pace action and there’s a different tactics for controlling the titan, sniping from afar or close quarter combat, but the fun of the gameplay is in close quarter combat, where you can just rip out an enemy pilot and hijack the robot suit. But there are some missteps, like a lack of customisation, with no cosmetic options at all beyond choosing your gender and the graphics are also largely unimpressive and there are frequent, if minor, problems with object pop-in and frame rate judder, maybe that will be fixed with the update. But despite all that Titanfall delivers the hype, with a combination of high pace of robotic action and parkour makes this, a must have for all you gamers out there.
